SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN WINGS 
Oil for frying
3 lb. chicken wings
Salt
1 c. cornstarch
3 eggs, beaten

Cut tips from wings and disjoint. Wash and dry, then sprinkle with salt. Dip in cornstarch; then beaten egg. Fry wings in oil at 375 degrees until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Place wings on flat baking pan and pour sauce over them. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. catsup
1/2 tsp. Accent
1/2 c. red currant jelly
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. salt

Bring all ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. Pour over wings and bake as directed.
