WHEAT DINNER ROLLS | |
4 1/4 c. flour 1/3 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt 2 pkgs. dry yeast 2 eggs 2 c. warm water 3/4 c. oil 2 c. wheat flour Mix 3 cups white flour, sugar, salt and yeast. In another bowl stir together eggs, water, oil; add to flour. Blend with mixer at low speed for 1/2 minute and at high speed for 3 minutes. Spoon in remaining flour. Place in a large greased bowl; cover and refrigerate overnight. Next day stir dough and let rest for 10 minutes. Form into rolls by rolling dough to 1 inch thick and cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter. Let rise for 40 minutes. Bake in well greased cake pan for 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes about 21 rolls. |
