TACOS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. chili powder
Dash of pepper
4 or 5 taco shells
1/2 to 3/4 c. shredded lettuce
1/2 c. shredded natural cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped tomato, if desired
Hot sauce or bottled taco sauce

In an 8 inch skillet, cook and stir meat until brown. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce, onion, garlic salt, chili powder an pepper. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. While meat mixture simmers, heat taco shells as directed on package. Fill taco shells with meat mixture. Top each with lettuce, cheese and chopped tomato. Serve with Hot Sauce. Makes 4 or 5 tacos.

HOT SAUCE:

1/3 c. chili sauce
1/4 tsp. red pepper sauce or 1 tsp. minced hot chili pepper
