“ARROZ CON GANDULES” IS IN:

ARROZ CON GANDULES 
3 cups rice
1 can gandules
1 cup of either jamon, chorizo or chicharron cut in cubes
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/2 cup homemade sofrito
3 1/2 cups chicken broth
salt and pepper, to taste
1 packet sazon goya
10 olives
1 can tomato sauce

In a pot, add olive oil and sautsauté meat til brown then remove. Add garlic and sauté for 20 seconds. add sofrito, olives and tomato sauce and simmer for a couple of minutes. Return meat to pot and add gandules and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 45 to 50 minutes.
