| CUBE STEAK WITH HASTY TASTY SAUCE | |

4 cube steaks 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp. ketchup 2 tbsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. cooking oil Mix flour, salt and pepper together. Flour steaks on both sides. Heat oil in a skillet. Brown steaks on both sides and remove from the skillet. Add dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, lemon juice to skillet, heat until boiling. Spoon over steaks. | |

My mom used to make this for me as a child. I was able to snag a vintage Good Housekeeping Cookbook just for this recipe. It is great for a quick family meal and was always a hit with my kids and still is for just my husband and me. Mashed potatoes and a salad go well with this. (I make 2x the sauce!)
