BARBECUED RIBS 
3 lbs. lean spare ribs cut in serving-sized pieces
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
3/4 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. catsup
3/4 c. water

Cover pan and bake 2 hours at 375 degrees. Last 1/2 hour remove cover and skim off fat.
