POTATO-GREEN BEAN STROGAN 
6-8 boiled potatoes (whole)
1 lg. onion, diced
1/2 c. celery, diced
6 bacon strips, fried and crushed
1 c. milk
Salt and pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 can green beans, French style

Boil potatoes with 1/2 diced onion until done. Drain off liquid and set aside. Saute 1/2 cup onion, celery in butter. Mix 1 cup milk and 1/4 cup flour until smooth, add to potato liquid and stir until thick.

Have a shallow baking dish with buttered edges set aside. Arrange potatoes in center of baking dish, place green beans around the side. Pour thickened liquid on green beans and potato mixture and top with bacon and sauteed celery and onion mixture. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until crumbs are browned.
