BAKED PORK CHOPS | |
1 (1-1 1/2") pork loin chop per serving 1 egg, beaten 12-14 soda crackers, crumbled fine Salt & pepper to taste 3 whole allspice per chop Milk Roll pork chops in egg and then in cracker crumbs. Brown in oven proof skillet (either corningware or cast iron type) and brown on both sides. Salt and pepper to taste. Place 3 whole allspice on each chop. Arrange chops in skillet. Fill each skillet with milk up to top edge of chop. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover last 15 minutes. This recipe will hold in oven if you company is late. The fats in the pork chop will be replaced by the milk. |
