WHITE SOUR CREAM CAKE 
Cream together:

1 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar

Add and beat well:

3 beaten eggs

Add sifted:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Place in 9 x 9 pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Good with vanilla sauce (recipe below).

SOUR CREAM FROSTING:

1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. butter

Bring to boil until soft ball stage. Cool and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and beat.

EASY VANILLA SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light cream
1/2 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Put all in blender, process at blend until smooth. Makes 2 cups. Can be served hot or cold. Can flavor with rum if desired.
