OLD FASHIONED POTATO-ONION SOUP | |
2 c. thinly sliced, pared potatoes 2/3 c. sliced onions 2/3 c. diced celery 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 4 c. boiling water 1 pt. condensed milk 4 tsp. finely chopped chives or parsley Place potatoes, onions, celery, salt and pepper with water in pot and boil until potatoes are tender. Mash or put through a fine sieve. Add milk and chives or parsley. Heat and serve. |
