3/4 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. lemon flavoring 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/4 tsp. salt Blend butter and sugar. Add egg and lemon flavoring; mix well. Stir in flour, cream of tartar and salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes. | |

This made a great cookie, except I treated it as a sugar cookie. I rolled it and cut them into little butterflies. I think that this recipe should have included how the cookies should have been made--rolled or just formed into spheres and smushed a little. Other than that, delicious!
