ROLLED SUGAR COOKIES 
Cream:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar

Add:

1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift and stir in:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Beat well and add more flour, if necessary, a little at a time, to make dough stiffer. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate. Later roll out on floured board to thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut in desired shapes. Place on lightly greased sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. 4 dozen cookies.
