SAUERKRAUT NOODLE BAKE | |
1 (1 lb.) box spiral noodles 1/2 lb. butter 2 extra lg. onions 1-2 cans sliced mushrooms, DON'T DRAIN 1 lg. can sauerkraut, juice and all 2 cans Campbell's cheddar cheese soup Cook noodles 5 minutes; drain. DON'T RINSE. Saute chopped onion in butter until golden yellow. Add sauerkraut, mushrooms to warmed up soup; mix well. Put in large pot, then add noodles and mix again. Place in greased 9x13 pan. Cook 1 hour at 325 degrees uncovered. Freeze remaining mixture. Preheat. Serves 8-10. |
