FISH FRY BISCUITS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 stick butter (melted)
1 c. milk
1 med. onion (minced)

Stir together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, beat egg, add butter and milk, beat again. Stir in minced onion. Add liquid to dry mixture, stir just enough to moisten flour (do not beat or over stir).

Drop by spoonful into 365 degree oil the fish were cooked in. Turn occasionally while cooking, remove to drain on a rack or paper towels when puffed and golden brown.
