CHRISTMAS WREATHS
1/2 c. unsalted butter
3 c. or 30 lg. marshmallows
1 1/2 tsp. green food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. corn flakes
2 tbsp. cinnamon red hots

To Make Cookies: In saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly, for 6 minutes, or until smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk in food coloring and vanilla until well blended. Stir in corn flakes to coat them well.

To Shape Cookies: Keep mixture warm by placing saucepan in large pot or skillet filled with 1" of very hot tap water. Replace water as it cools. Working quickly so mixture does not harden, use 2 spoons, or lightly greased fingers, to drop small mounds of mixture onto wax paper. With lightly greased fingers, quickly form corn flake mounds into wreaths with holes in centers. Immediately, while wreaths are still sticky, decorate with red hots.
