FRIED OKRA 
4 c. cut okra
1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 sm. can Milnot
1 1/2 c. Crisco

Mix corn meal, flour, salt and pepper. Add cut okra and mix well. Add 1 can of Milnot. Mix until all okra is covered with damp mixture. Heat Crisco (sizzling hot). Add okra and cover. The okra will brown quickly. Turn and brown on the other side, turning often and gently.
