BARBEQUE BRISKET | |
5-6 lb. brisket Meat tenderizer 3 tbsp. liquid smoke Salt and pepper Celery salt, onion salt Garlic powder Paprika Nutmeg Brown sugar Barbeque sauce Sprinkle meat tenderizer, liquid smoke, salt and pepper on meat and let stand 2-3 hours. Spread generously celery salt, onion salt, garlic powder, paprika, nutmeg, and brown sugar on meat and wrap tightly in foil. Bake 2 hours at 300 degrees. Loosen foil and bake 5-6 hours at 250 degrees. Cool and slice. Return to foil and pour barbecue sauce over meat. Bake 1 hour at 200 degrees. (I sprinkle onion soup on the meat sometimes and also I mix a little of the meat drippings with barbecue sauce.) I know you are a good cook and you'll fix it up just fine. Enjoy! |
