CLAM CHOWDER (WITH MILK) | |
1 - 1 1/2 lb. fresh clams or equivalent of minced canned clams 2 qt. milk 2 tsp. chopped celery 2 tsp. chopped onion 5 drops Worcestershire sauce 2 med. potatoes, diced Salt and pepper to taste 3 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. parsley Put clams into large sauce pan. Add butter. Saute clams 2 minutes. Add other ingredients, bring to almost boil, slow simmer 20 to 30 minutes until potatoes are done. Can use 4 to 6 strips bacon for added flavor. Super. |
