Or plain old wonderful "I love you!" 2/3 c. shortening 2 eggs 1/3 c. milk 3 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix ingredients; sift flour with the baking powder and salt. Roll thin; cut in 2-inch circles and put half on greased sheets. Write own daffy messages on small slips of paper; fold small, place tentwise in center of cookie.

Place another cookie round on top; press down around edges to seal and bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 8-10 minutes. Ovens vary, so check frequently.
