MARLENE'S SMOKED BUTT HAM WITH BONE | |
Soft, succulent, semi sweetened meat. Leftovers (if any) are great for sandwiches with horseradish or mustard. Also sautés with eggs for a great breakfast meat, quiches, ham salad, etc. Quick, easy, and little effort. 1 (5 lb.) smoked butt ham with bone (I usually get mine from a Polish butcher) 1 cup sugar In a large pot (with cover), fill half way with water and add a cup of sugar. Wash ham and place in pot. Fill to cover ham with water. From point of boiling cook for 40 to 45 minutes. Enjoy! Submitted by: Marlene |
