CHOCOLATE ZUCCHINI BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. grated zucchini
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. chocolate chips (optional)

Grease two 8x4 inch bread pans.

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after any addition. Sift dry ingredients.

Add to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Stir in zucchini and nuts by hand.

Pour into pans, smoothing the top with a wet spoon or spatula.

Pour chips evenly over top.

Bake at 350°F for 45-60 minutes. Allow to cool in pan for 15 minutes, then loosen edges with a knife before turning out. Cool for 30 minutes, then remove and refrigerate.
