CHICKEN SOUP WITH TORTELLINI 
1 (10-12 oz.) can chicken, drained
6 c. water
1 carrot, cut into thin slices
1/4 c. green onion, chopped
1 bouillon cube, chicken flavor
1 tsp. parsley
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 pkg. tortellini, dried or frozen

In 6 cups of water, heat all ingredients except the tortellini, bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add tortellini, cook for as long as package indicates. Serve as a first course or on its own.

SPECIAL NOTE: This tends to be very spicy depending on the brand of tortellini used. You may want to adjust the amount of garlic salt and pepper, or add them after serving. makes about 8 servings.
