SPICY PLUM CRISP 
5 c. quartered pitted purple plums
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into 9 x 13 greased pan. Top with: 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten

Sprinkle over plum mixture. Melt 1 stick butter and pour over topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
