PRIZE NUT COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. melted Crisco
4 1/2 c. flour, sifted twice
3 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix sugars and Crisco well; add eggs. Beat in a little at a time, beating thoroughly when all is added. Add nuts. Make into log loaf. Place in a pan lined with waxed paper. Set in refrigerator. In morning, slice as thin as possible. Bake about 7 minutes in 375 degree oven.
