PIE FILLING CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease and flour cake pan. Beat sugar and butter together. Add 4 beaten eggs and flour. Mix well. Save 1 cup of batter. Spread the remaining batter in cake pan. The mix will be thick. Spoon pie filling over batter. Spread the 1 cup of saved batter on top of pie filling. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
