HAWAIIAN CHICKEN 
1 (8 oz.) jar Russian dressing
1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix
1 (8-10 oz.) jar apricot preserves
1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks, cut pieces in half
1 jar maraschino cherries, cut in half
2-3 lbs. chicken, cut in serving-size pieces

Mix all ingredients (except chicken) in a bowl. Remove fat and skin from chicken. Dip chicken into sauce and arrange flat in a 9x13 pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour. Turn chicken pieces over and drain off any grease. Spoon on rest of sauce and continue baking in 350 degree oven for another 20-30 minutes. Serves 6.

For a fancier look, put pineapple rings and cherries on top of rice.
