HONEY L'S SNOWBALL CAKE | |
1 angel food cake 2 env. unflavored gelatin 1/2 c. cold water 1/2 c. boiling water 1 c. granulated sugar 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice 2 env. Dream Whip 2 additional env. Dream Whip 1 c. powdered sugar 1 can Angel Flake coconut Dissolve unflavored gelatin in cold water; then add boiling water. Stir to completely dissolve. Add granulated sugar. Stir well. Cool. Prepare 2 packages of Dream Whip as directed on package. Stir into gelatin mixture. Add the pineapple and its juice. In large bowl tear cake into pieces about the size of an egg, or just a little smaller. Pour gelatin mixture over the cake and stir gently, but well, to mix. Put into ungreased 9"x13" pan. Prepare the additional 2 envelopes of Dream Whip according to package directions, but add the 1 cup of powdered sugar. When blended, pour over the dessert and top with the can of flaked coconut. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least an hour before serving. |
