APPLE DAPPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. nuts

Mix eggs, salad oil, sugar, blend well. Add flour, salt, and soda. Mix well. Add vanilla, apples, chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. While cake is still hot, pour hot topping over cake in pan.

Topping:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar

Cook 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over cake. Leave set overnight.
