NUT DROP COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. Karo syrup, red or blue label
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coarsely chopped nutmeats

Sift together flour and salt. Cream shortening; add sugar, cream until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
