TOMATO AND CABBAGE SAUTE 
4 c. chopped cabbage
1 c. celery, diced in lg. pieces
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. diced green onion
1 tbsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tomatoes, diced

Mix all ingredients except tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes in 4 tablespoons bacon fat. Use large skillet. Add tomatoes and cook covered for 5 minutes. Don't overcook; celery should be crunchy! Serves 4.
