JULIE'S ALL IN ONE PAN BEEF STEW 
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. water
1/4 c. dry white wine, optional
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 lb. stew beef in 1" cubes
6 carrots in 1" chunks
4 med. potatoes, cubed

Combine first 8 ingredients, blend, add rest, stir to coat. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Serves 6-8.

I needed a recipe for stew without onions so I gave this a try. Wow, it was great! The white wine really made a flavorful difference. The color of the "gravy" or whatever is not that appetizing...the tomato mixed with the mushroom soup ... but flavor was delicious and I will make this again.
