SLUSHY PUNCH | |
2 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello 4 c. sugar 13 c. water 1 (16 oz.) bottle lemon juice (Realemon) 2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice 67 oz. 7-UP Take 4 cups sugar and 4 cups water, boil until sugar is dissolved, set aside. Mix the Jelloes together with 5 cups boiled water. Stir until Jelloes are dissolved. Add 4 cups cold water. Add the sugar and water mixture that was set aside. Add the lemon juice and the pineapple juice. Stir. Freeze in plastic quart containers. It will fill about 8. Set out 3-4 hours before serving. (If it is very warm outside it does not have to set out this long.) Break up into crystals to make it slushy when the 7-UP is added. Add the 7-UP to taste. If you make up the entire recipe to serve you will need all the 7-UP the recipe calls for. Serves about 60 people with one glass each. You can just mix up one quart and add 7-UP to taste for fewer people. |
