Apples, peaches, pears or nectarines - either "too hard to eat" or over-ripe, you can use canned fruit that is well-drained
Honey - amt. according to quantity of fruit
Peel and core fruit. Mash or puree until smooth. Cook in a saucepan over moderate heat for 5 minutes. While cooking, add 1 teaspoon honey for each piece of fruit. Lay out clear plastic wrap on cookie tray. Use 1 piece for each piece of fruit.
Spoon mixture onto plastic, staying clear of edge. Spread thinly. Place tray in oven at lowest heat or with just the pilot light. Leave 6 to 8 hours. When dry, remove from oven and roll up as for a jelly roll, leaving plastic wrap attached. Peel and eat! This will keep several months.
