CHESS CAKE 
1 stick butter, melted
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box confectioners sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Combine butter, cake mix and 1 egg, mix well. Pat cake mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans over cake layer. Combine cream cheese, confectioners sugar, 3 eggs and vanilla. Mix well and spread over pecan layer. Lower oven temperature to 325 degrees. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
