OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIPS & NUTS | |
1 c. butter, melted 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 2 1/2 c. oatmeal 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 12 oz. bag chocolate chips 4 oz. Hershey bar, grated 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (any kind) Cream together melted butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Put small amounts of oatmeal into blender until it turns to powder, measure first then blend. Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix together all ingredients. Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and chopped nuts. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets. Make golf ball sized cookies and place them on the cookie sheets 2" apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. (Baking time may vary with individual ovens.) Makes approximately 56 cookies. |
