ORIENTAL PORK CHOPS WITH RICE 
4 med. pork chops
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can onion soup
1 c. water
1 (1 lb.) can chow mein vegetables
Salt

Trim fat from chops and brown lightly. While chops are browning, melt butter in a 9x13 inch cake pan. Add rice and stir until lightly browned. Add soup, water and vegetables. Heat to boiling. Place browned chops on top of mixture. Salt to taste and cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
