RAMBO CHILI | |
1 can Brooks hot chili beans 1 can tomato sauce 1/2 can water 1/2 onion (medium sized, chopped and diced) 1 tomato, chopped and diced 1 tomato (pulverized) Crushed dried red peppers 1/2 lb. beef (or 1/2 lb. chicken) 1/2 lb. spiced pork sausage Brown meat; drain grease. Mix in beans, tomato sauce and water (medium heat). Dice onion, tomatoes and add to mixture. Add approximately a handful of crushed dried red peppers. It is possible to serve once it has boiled for 5 to 10 minutes; however, it thickens and tastes much better if you allow it to simmer for 1-1/2 hours. Stir occasionally. Add water when necessary. Optional ingredients macaroni noodles, spaghetti noodles. Goes great with peanut butter on ritz crackers. |
