BEEF AND PORK MEAT LOAF 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. lean ground pork
2 slices bread, crumbled
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped green peppers
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce

Combine all ingredients except 1 cup tomato sauce; mix well. Shape into loaf in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove excess fat. Pour remaining tomato sauce over loaf. Bake 30 minutes longer, basting occasionally.
