MAPLE - WALNUT SWEET POTATOES 
8 med. sweet potatoes
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of cloves
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Bake potatoes at 400 degrees for 50 minutes or until soft. Cut into halves. Cool slightly; peel. Press through sieve into bowl. Beat in syrup, butter, salt and cloves. Turn into buttered casserole. Sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Yield 6-8 servings.
