SPRING GREEN SALAD | |
1/2 to 3/4 head chopped lettuce 1/2 c. onion 1/2 c. chopped pepper 6 boiled eggs, sliced 6 to 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 1 c. chopped celery 1 pkg. frozen green peas, uncooked OR 1 can English peas, drained 1 1/2 to 2 c. mayonnaise mixed with 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. grated cheese Layer ingredients in bowl in order as above. Do not stir. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Will keep in refrigerator 2 or 3 days. |
