HAM CASSEROLE | |
1 med. head cauliflower 2 c. cooked ham, cubed 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms 4 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. flour 1 c. sharp American cheese, cubed 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1 tbsp. butter, melted 1 c. milk Break cauliflower into buds (about 4 cups). Cook, covered in boiling, salted water until soft (10-12 minutes); drain. Combine ham and mushrooms in medium pan. Combine melted butter (4 tablespoons); stir in flour. Add milk all at once; cook and stir until thickens and bubbles. Add cheese and sour cream; stir until cheese melts. Combine with cauliflower and ham. Put into 2 quart casserole. Combine crumbs and 1 tablespoon melted butter; sprinkle on top. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. |
