“NEVER-FAIL MERINGUES” IS IN:

NEVER-FAIL MERINGUES 
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 200°F.

Beat egg whites and salt until very stiff and dry. Gradually add sugar to egg whites; continue to beat. Add vinegar and vanilla; continue to beat.

Bake at 200°F for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Leave in oven overnight. Do not open door.

Note: Meringues will never be tough if made on a sunny day.

Makes 8 servings.
