BEET SALAD 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 shakes of allspice
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. julienne beets
2/3 c. beet juice
Cream cheese
Mayonnaise
3 hard boiled eggs

Bring first five ingredients to a boil. Dissolve in this hot mixture 1 package lemon Jello. Add julienne beets and beet juice. Let set. Serve with cream cheese mixed with a little mayonnaise. Grate 3 hard boiled eggs over the top.
