HAM LOAF | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground ham 1/2 lb. ground pork 1 egg 1 c. cracker meal 1 1/2 c. milk 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. cold water Combine the meats, egg, cracker meal and milk. Mixture will be wet. Put in greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Make a liquid of the sugar, vinegar, mustard and water. Periodically baste the loaf while it bakes to make a coating on the loaf. Yields 8 servings. |
