RICE KRISPIE TREATS 
1/4 c. butter
1 pkg. (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 c. miniature marshmallows
6 c. Rice Krispies cereal

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies. Stir until well coated. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cool, cut into squares.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:

Microwave butter and marshmallows on high 2 minutes in microwave safe mixing bowl. Stir to combine. Microwave on high 1 minute longer. Stir until smooth. Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Press into pan.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
