RICE PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
1/3 c. rice
1 egg
1 sm. can Carnation milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. sugar

Scald 1 quart whole milk on medium heat 10 minutes. Add 1/3 cup rice and simmer over medium heat for 1 hour. Beat egg, evaporated milk, vanilla and sugar together. Add to rice. Cook until thick, 20 minutes. Cool before serving. Yields 8 servings.
