2 eggs 1 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. pecans or walnuts, cut fine 1 c. dates, cut fine & cooked in 1 tbsp. water until soft Beat eggs. Add sugar gradually. Sift dry ingredients and add. Add cooked nuts and dates. Bake in a greased shallow 10 x 15 inch pan. While warm, cut in squares 1 1/2 inches and roll in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Tampa, Florida |
