2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3/4 c. Crisco shortening or oil
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, eggs, Crisco and vanilla, then add flour and milk together. Bake in greased and floured cake pans at 350 degrees until golden brown.
