CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
1/2 pkg. Kraft caramels (about 24)
1 tbsp. milk
6 oz. Keebler graham cracker pie crust
1/3 c. chopped nuts
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chunky applesauce
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
8 oz. Cool Whip, thawed
Fresh apple slices

Melt caramels with milk. Stir until smooth. Pour into prepared crust. Sprinkle with nuts. Let cool. Beat cream cheese, sour cream and sugar until smooth. Stir in applesauce, vanilla and cinnamon. Fold in half of the Cool Whip. Spread this mixture over the caramel layer. Chill at least 4 hours. Garnish top with remaining Cool Whip, apple slices and melted caramels, if desired.
