SWISS STYLE HAMBURGER 
Perfect Meatballs (see recipe previous)
1 env. dry onion soup mix
16 oz. can whole cooking tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1 can brown gravy
1/2 c. red wine
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
Salt, pepper
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Make meatball recipe, increasing to 1 1/2 times original. Shape into patties. Brown patties n small amount of hot oil in large skillet. Remove from pan. Drain excess fat.

Add to pan liquid from tomatoes, tomatoes (crushed), brown gravy, onion soup mix, wine, garlic, thyme and bay leaf. Stir to mix in browned bits from bottom. Add patties. Simmer 1/2 hour, covered. Add mushrooms and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer additional 30 minutes, covered.
